Can’t Make a Meeting?
If you are unable to attend a general meeting, contact Jennifer Stamper, FSL’s Secretary at email@example.com with your notice of absence and your votes for each ballot as early as possible.
If you are unable to attend a committee meeting, contact your chairperson.
Please bring your calendars to all general and (your) committee meetings so that you can log all important dates and times for any/all meetings and volunteer events.
Moving or Changing Emails?
If you have an address, phone number, or email address change, contact Amy Fisher at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible with your updates.
Membership Committee will distribute an updated contact list of our current members and sustainers.
If you have not yet paid your dues for the 2012/2013 year please do so immediately. The cost is $60.00, but will increase to $65.00 after October 1, 2012. Please mail or drop your payment off ASAP to Nichole Callicutt at 401 Hedgewyck Drive. Cash or check is fine for payment. Checks can be made payable to Findlay Service League.
Historical Bicentennial Gala ~ held back on Saturday, June 16 – HUGE SUCCESS! We raised nearly $20,000 for Findlay Service League! Detailed reports of our Operating and Philanthropic budgets will be handed out at our first General Meeting.
Findlay Service League Wine~
Currently we’re selling Findlay Service League wine at The Anderson’s in Toledo, OH; however, from our Gala event, we have several bottles of wine left over that also accompany a round piece of Dietsch’s fine chocolate that we’re selling at a discount! We mostly have white wine available but are offering: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon (very limited quantities in red), Chardonnay, and White Zinfandel. The cost per bottle is $8.66. Please email me if you are interested in purchasing a bottle, or two, or three!
Don’t forget to visit our awesome website at www.findlayfsl.org. Just so you know, copies of funding and service request forms are available online and are now e-mailable!! Please get the word out to other 501(c)3 organizations to apply for our funds or our service!!
Lastly, please be aware that “POINTS TO PONDER” will be sent out by Heather Howard. Always read this document and please be sure to print all ballots before coming to our General Meetings. Don’t forget to wear your FSL nametags to all meetings and volunteer events too. If you need to purchase a new nametag, let me know and we’ll get one ordered for you at the low cost of $5.95.

Please notice we are in need of someone to Chair our Dog Walking program with the Humane Society and we’re in need for FSL members to sit on the board for Findlay Area Safe Kids and Read for Life. If you have any interest in being the chairperson for our dog walking project or serving as a board member for either one of these organizations please email me right away.
On the same note, we have many vacant spots on each of our committees. One position that is vacant is the Chair for PR and many Assist positions are open as well. If you have any desire to be added to an additional committee please email me right away.
